Each model also has three cab options for those with different needs. The varieties are Regular, Quad, and Crew. Here is a closer look at each one.

Regular Cab

This cab style has two doors with a choice between bucket seats and a three-person bench. Due to its low weight, it has the highest towing capacity and is excellent if you’re looking to get lots of work done without carrying multiple passengers.

Quad Cab

The Quad Cab has four doors and seating for up to six. The rear doors are relatively small, but the vehicle can accommodate passengers in the back comfortably. This model only comes with a 6’4” cargo bed. It does, however, offer a higher towing capacity than Crew models.

Crew Cab

This is the largest cab style. It has full-sized rear doors and seating for up to six. The back also has the most legroom of the three choices, so it is the ideal option if you have to carry multiple passengers.

What Should First-Time Pickup Truck Shoppers in St. Paul, AB Look For?

(Posted on Apr 27, 2021 at 01:48PM by Josh Lew)
<img src="/images/upload/April_2021/ram_2500_pickup_truck_shopping.jpg"alt="Black 2021 Ram 2500 pulling trailer at night"/>Pickups are versatile vehicles that can handle a wide range of tasks. Selecting the correct truck can be complicated because you do not want to end up with features and functions you do not need. Here are some things to consider to help you master the shopping process.

What Is the Intended Use?

When shopping for a pickup, such as a RAM, you can choose different bed lengths, door counts, and powertrains. Consider how many passengers will use the vehicle and how much you need to haul or tow. You do not want to overbuy because a stronger truck can have worse fuel economy and be more challenging to steer.

Take a "Real Life" Test Drive

Pickup trucks are longer, heavier, and more top-heavy than sedans. They don’t carve corners or park the same way. Be sure to test drive the vehicle in places you are likely to frequent so that you can see how it handles in real-life situations.

If you want a light-duty truck (like the RAM 1500) or a heavy-duty model (like the RAM 2500), contact our St. Paul, AB dealership to schedule a test drive.
